Semi-Permanent Make-up in Oldbury and Birmingham
Semi-permanent make-up puts definition into brows, eyeliner and lips so it is already there when you wake up. It reads as your own features rather than as make-up, and it lasts months instead of hours.
Definition that still looks like you
The point of semi-permanent make-up is not to draw something new on your face. It is to sharpen what is already there, so brows sit evenly, a lash line looks fuller, and lips keep their shape.
Shape and colour are agreed with you before anything starts, and we work towards the softer end of what you ask for. It is far easier to add depth at a review than to take it away.
How your appointment works
We look at your features, talk through the shape and colour you want, and check for any allergies or skin sensitivities we need to know about before going ahead.
The shape is drawn on and agreed with you in the mirror first. Nothing permanent happens until you are happy with what you are looking at. Only then does the treatment itself begin.
Colour looks strongest in the first few days and softens as the skin heals. We give you aftercare to follow, and we look at it again once it has settled rather than judging the result on day one.
What to expect afterwards
Expect the area to look darker and a little swollen at first, and to soften noticeably as it heals. Follow the aftercare we give you, because how you look after it in the first days affects how evenly the colour settles.
How long it lasts varies from person to person, and depends on your skin and how much sun the area gets. It fades gradually rather than disappearing, so it does not leave a hard edge behind.

Semi-Permanent Make-up
Not if it is placed well. We agree the shape with you in the mirror first and work towards the softer end of what you ask for, because depth can be added at a review but is much harder to take away.
Most clients describe it as uncomfortable rather than painful, and it varies by area. Tell us how you are finding it as we go.

Tell us at consultation if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a skin condition affecting the area, or if you have had a reaction to pigments or anaesthetics before. We will advise whether to wait or whether this is not the right treatment for you.
