IV Drips in Oldbury and Birmingham
An IV drip delivers fluids, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants straight into the bloodstream, so absorption does not depend on digestion. Most clients come to us about hydration, energy or immune support. We treat it as wellbeing support first and a cosmetic benefit second.
A drip, not an injection
The difference between a drip and an injection is volume and time. An injection is a small dose given in a few minutes. A drip runs a larger volume of fluid in slowly through a cannula while you sit back, which is why it also rehydrates rather than only topping up a nutrient.
If you want something quicker and more targeted, our vitamin injections may suit you better. We will say which we think is the right route at consultation.
How your appointment works
We talk through how you have been feeling, your medical history and anything you have already been told about your levels, then agree which blend makes sense for you.
A small cannula goes into the arm and the drip runs through slowly while you sit comfortably. Plan for roughly half an hour to an hour in the chair, depending on the blend.
The cannula comes out and you carry on with your day. Some clients book a single drip, others come back periodically. We agree an interval that suits you rather than putting you on a schedule by default.
What to expect afterwards
Most clients return to normal activities immediately. Any tenderness or bruising where the cannula sat is usually mild and settles within a day or two.
How much difference you notice, and how quickly, varies from person to person. A drip supports hydration and tops up what is low. It is not a substitute for medical investigation where something needs a diagnosis, and we will tell you if that is what we think.
